I don't know about you but I'm always looking for things to teach on or better ways to teach on the same things.
While at the Gospel Coalition in Chicago this spring I heard Tim Keller mention the phrase, "metaphors of the gospel," or something like that.
Well I came up with my only little phrase, "Metaphors of Grace." Basically this idea alludes to the different words or better yet the word pictures that Paul uses to describe the gospel.
Rather than giving them all to you I will encourage you to visit Romans 3:21-26 and immerse yourself there for about a week. What are the words that are present or implied that describe the gospel? Where did Paul get these words? What were these words used for in the original culture that he was writing to?
This will be an amazing means of grace for you. Enjoy!
